Week 5 : MIDTERM Walk Cycle |

Today, we reviewed our walk cycles. For a successful walk cycle, be sure that you keyframe the four main poses discusssed in class. Memorize these and you will do just fine in the field of animation. Seriously, in your field, you will be working with characters on a regular basis. Your characters have to be able to get somewhere in order to obtain an objective. The four poses are:
- The Contact Pose
- The Weight Pose
- The Pass Pose
- The Break Pose
Be sure you have 3 poses for each pose in your animation, that's about 12 frames for each full step. See the image below (I know, "weight" is mispelled).

NEXT week: We will learn about one of the greatest animators Chuck Jones and our next principle, anticipation.
